Vicki has been working in invasive species since her master’s thesis on purple loosestrife, completed in 1998 at Binghamton University in New York. She worked in invasive species control and habitat restoration for the U.S. Forest Service in Baldwin, before becoming the coordinator for NCCISMA.

Zach Peklo Invasive Species Technician
Zach has a passion for the outdoors, which led him to pursue a degree in Natural Resource Management from Grand Valley State University, During his college summers, Zach worked for Oakland Township Parks and Recreation, gaining experience in habitat restoration and invasive species control. After graduating in 2018, he joined the NCCISMA team.
When not working, Zach enjoys fishing and bird hunting with his young German Shorthair Pointer, Verner.
