Local Herbicide Contractors

Below is a list with contact information for licensed herbiciding contractors that are known to provide services in the NCCISMA region. We recommend that you verify with the company that you hire that they are still licensed in the category that matches the habitat where they will be providing herbiciding services for you. Be aware that it is illegal for a company that does not hold a valid Pesticide Applicator Business license from the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) in the habitat that they are treating in, to apply herbicides on your property. It is also illegal for any paid person in the State of Michigan to apply herbicides as part of their job without holding a valid Pesticide Applicator Certification. You may legally apply non-restricted-use pesticides on your own property. For advice on techniques to handle herbicide applications on your own, or to find out about affordable herbicide equipment rentals available through NCCISMA, please visit the Treatment Advice and Toolcribs pages under the Resources subheading (above)
